Convenience takes on a whole new meaning with the efficient, reliable and user-friendly Energizer Jumpstarter 400 12-volt Battery Jumpstarter. Powered by a large lead-acid battery capable of putting out 350 CA, it is designed to quickly and safely deliver automotive power on two fronts: battery jump-starting power and untethered DC current suitable for most any appliance or gadget. It also contains a rear inverter docking feature for AC power when used with the Energizer 200w inverter (sold separately). In either configuration, the Energizer 12-Volt 400 Battery Jumpstarter provides the reassurance of power you can count on while on the road.

Jumpstarting Your Car

In the event of a dead or severely drained battery the Energizer Jumpstart 400 allows you to get back on the road in minutes by simply following three color-coated steps numbered on the outside of the unit. It's as easy as 1: assuring that the unit has a sufficient charge by pressing the CHECK button; 2: attaching the color-coded positively and negatively charged 24" power output jumper cables, via their heavy-duty 400A metal battery clamps, to the appropriate positively charged post on your car's dead battery and a ground position on your engine block; 3: turning the power switch located in the clearly marked JUMP section of the controls from OFF to JUMP, and starting the car with the dead battery. When your vehicle starts and has run at an idle for a few minutes remove the Jumpstart 400's cables in the reverse order they were connected, turn off the unit and you are ready to roll.

Standard DC Power and Optional AC As Well

Along with its automotive exclusive functionality, the Energizer Jumpstart 400 provides the power and access to power that users of modern devices need on the road. The unit comes standard with one rear-oriented 12-volt DC socket suitable for powering 12V devices utilizing a cigarette lighter adapter. Devices plugged into this are protected by a 30-amp manual-reset circuit breaker located at the back, that ensures that they are never exposed to more power than they can safely handle. In addition, the unit's rear inverter dock functionality means that user's also have the option of access to three-pronged AC power by way of Energizer's 200w Inverter, sold separately.

Easy to Maintain Power Levels

Because even the best jumpstarter unit is of little use unless it contains sufficient power, the Energizer Jumpstart 400 is designed to be easy to charge and effortless to maintain. Unlike other manufacturer's units that can be damaged by overcharging, the Energizer Jumpstart 400 contains a two-stage internal charger that allows your battery's power to fluctuate within a very small range while attached to AC current for charging. At the highest level of this range through the middle, charging ceases, while when the lowest is reached charging begins again, continuing until the highest level is reached. This creates a charging cycle, yet cuts the battery off from the damaging effects of excess power. This means that the unit can safely be connected to a wall outlet indefinitely, ensuring that the unit will be ready to pop into your trunk at full power whenever you want it.

If you are a competitive swimmer in the pool or hope to do so, learning to correctly dive off the starting block is something you need to learn and be good at. Having a good start is important to getting good times in your event, but not as important as good swim technique. Watch the best swimmers to see what their technique is and learn.

What is the method of diving off the block? While standing on the block, place one of your feet at the forward edge with toes over edge. Which foot you use is up to you. Place the other foot behind you about a shoulders width distance, face towards the pool.

When you hear" take your mark" lower yourself till your chest is about to your thigh, grab the edge of the block with your hands. Remain still until you hear the next command to go. Also at this point you should be leaning far enough forward that you feel you may fall.

At the start signal, jump forward while at the same time pushing with your legs and your arms. Once in the air move your arms out to your front in a streamlined position. When you enter the water keep you head tucked in and straighten out your body so you do not go deep, you want to keep close to the surface. Immediately start your kick after entering the water.

As important the start is, don't spend too much time practicing it. You need to work on your swim technique more than learning to dive. Make sure your goggles are on tight so they do not come off when you hit the water, this will mess up your concentration because your goggles will probably be around your face.

I can't say from firsthand experience if this is the easiest or best way. This was my first time dooing the doo. I've put about 1000 miles on the bike since with no problems. I'd call it a successful installation. Instructon will be succint due to text limitations. Remove the skid plate (three 10 mm bolts (2008: four 10 mm bolts). Remove the shift lever (one 10 mm bolt. Use the wrench). Remove the counter sprocket cover (three 10 mm bolts). If you drained the oil, PUT THE OIL PLUG BACK AND TORQUE IT TO 17 (2008: 21) FT * LBS NOW! Gently unplug the green neutral wire and wiggle the wire out of the channel forward of the front sprocket. It will help if you get the wires free of the clip behind where the sprocket cover was. Remove the ten 8mm outer left side cover bolts. Carefully and as evenly as possible, pull the outer side cover off. There are strong magnets attatched to the cover, don't be afraid if the cover hops to the side a little. Leave the wires going into the cover alone. Hang the cover from wire from over the seat (or however you want. Whatever works for you ...

Basketball requires a high degree of physical prowess and it's not surprising to learn than jump height is one of them. Learning to jump higher in basketball can be a long training process that requires not only perseverance, but also the right knowledge as to what muscles to build up. Over the course of your training routine, you should aspire to reach goals, but also learn what muscles you will need to tone and build in order to reach your maximum jump height. From your calves to your thighs and your abs, they're all integral to getting the most of your body.

However, be sure that you don't over work yourself. If you sustain an injury from too much training, it can set you back more than you've gained. Try to train five days a week at most or alternate to reduce the detriments of training.

Exercises To Improve Jump Height

Always keep in mind that you should stretch and warm up before any training. This will prevent your muscles from suffering any injuries and slowing your training down. Furthermore, as you warm up and stretch more, you will be able to perform tougher exercises. There are certain exercises you can do to help the warm up process.

One such exercise is the Knee Bend. Begin in a standing position. From here, crouch down as far as you can, then return to your standing position. This will work out numerous muscles and as time goes on, you can increase how many reps you carry out, starting with 15.

Another few additional exercises are the Knee Bend Jump, an adjustment to the Knee Bend. Instead of simply standing back up, you jump up and then, as you land, return back to the crouching position. This is a higher-intensity exercise and is directly related to the purpose of the training. Additionally, the Toe Raise helps improve the calf muscles and is as simple as standing up, then standing onto the tips of your toes, then returning to your initial position. To increase the intensity, you could add weights to the mix.
